Miranda Barcena, RICP® | President

We’re former teachers who now educate adults as Financial Advisors. We got into finance because we believe financial education should be accessible to everyone. Money impacts every part of life, yet it’s rarely taught in school. We wanted to change that—by giving individuals, families, and businesses the tools and confidence they need to make informed financial decisions.

Today, we help individuals and families build clarity and confidence through financial planning, wealth management, and retirement income planning. We also support small-to-medium-sized businesses—typically between 1 and 150 employees—through retirement plans, group benefits, financial consulting, and financial wellness programs for their teams.

Juan Carlos holds his FINRA Series 7 & 66 registrations and an MBA with a concentration in Finance. Miranda holds her FINRA Series 7, 63, & 65 registrations and earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation. We both maintain Life, Accident & Health Licenses, and Juan Carlos is bilingual in English and Spanish.

At home, we’re proud parents to Bella and JC Jr., along with our two black labs. We love being outdoors, spending time on the water, and gathering with our big extended family. Miranda is also a breast cancer survivor, and we’re both die-hard Texas Longhorns—where we met over 20 years ago and have been together ever since.
